A Note From the Pastor
Pastor Jeff Williams // February 18th, 2009
Today is my daughter’s twelfth Birthday! Very hard to believe that she is… that I am that old! She can now go into the Youth Group. I am not sure I am ready for this. But I am so proud of her. She is the most honest and rule-following little girl I have ever known. She likes to only listen and watch things that are nice… maybe not always the most wholesome, but nothing with violence or evil in it. Praise God she takes after her mother. Praise God that he is good to us even when we don’t deserve it.
“Many daughters have done virtuously, nobly, and well [with the strength of character that is steadfast in goodness], but you excel them all.” Proverbs 31:29 AMP

Got something to say?

Sheridan is a precious one! I remember when she was little…
It’s amazing how it fills the heart to see our children doing what is right and good and pleasing to the Lord! One of my boys recently took the initiative to create flyers and pass them out in the neighborhood in efforts to get some work to help pay for his school trip. He has spent the last couple of days working from about the time he’s gotten home from school until dark. An added bonus, he’s already planned to spend part of his day tomorrow “training” with a friend on the skills he will need to do well in the competitions while on his school trip. My other son brought me a Valentine’s card the other day like no other I’ve ever received from him — from the message of his heart inside I knew that he “got it” – some things I’ve been trying to teach him for a long time…
