One of my sins of omission is to not pray for my enemy.

Praying for my enemy is the greatest source of my own inner peace.

Hey Sesalle,
What an awesome word and what an awesome way to start your married life together. You are so right about the Church and the Family and at TCOC we are able to have both. We just arrived at our hotel in the Meadowlands and are headed into Manhattan, but I wanted to jump on the church site and see what was going on back home before heading out. We love you all!

Robert,
I personally enjoyed your message greatly. I have heard lots of Christmas stories and stories of Humility; however you really hit an area that I had never heard or even thought of - the fact that Jesus came to be born of man in a cold stable, without all the sparkles and bling of a king. How he didn't have material things to show he was the king, but became man and all the humility.
Thanks again for a great message.

Something I have learned over the years is that it is not the amount of time that is important, but the quality of that time. A community can come together every day for hours and never get to know one another. Then there are people who only see each other every now and then and are close friends. Quality is key.

Thank you Pastor Jeff! I'm dealing something in my life right now and this is exactly what I needed to hear. I have to try not to let this person use their feelings as a weapon against me. If that person feels bad it's because of their bad decisions. It's certainly fight within myself to keep from letting their emotions get the best of me, especially when it's someone very close to me.
Thank you!!

Pastor Jeff,
Thank you for placing this on your blog. I have printed it out so I can study the verses using my study bible. I pray for my heart to be open for each message, but this one I needed to really soak in!

Thank you for giving us the tools to have a better prayer life in your message "Prophetic Prayer". I hope most everyone on our prayer team were able to attend this service to receive the teachings of this message.

Thanks for that blog, Pastor Jeff! I am a manager at a mortgage company and I have to correct people a lot. I have to put my gaurd up quite a bit so not to let other people's emotions get the best of me. I put my armor on daily to gaurd my heart! God bless you and your commitment to your mission with God : )

I agree! We can not let other people's feelings or emotions stop us from doing God's work.

Sheridan is a precious one! I remember when she was little...

It's amazing how it fills the heart to see our children doing what is right and good and pleasing to the Lord! One of my boys recently took the initiative to create flyers and pass them out in the neighborhood in efforts to get some work to help pay for his school trip. He has spent the last couple of days working from about the time he's gotten home from school until dark. An added bonus, he's already planned to spend part of his day tomorrow "training" with a friend on the skills he will need to do well in the competitions while on his school trip. My other son brought me a Valentine's card the other day like no other I've ever received from him -- from the message of his heart inside I knew that he "got it" - some things I've been trying to teach him for a long time...
